Age: Is there a minimum age?
The minimum age is 18. Children/young people may also attend if accompanied by a legal guardian.
Booking: Can I book alone?

Of course! Whether alone or in groups, everyone is welcome here.
Welcome! However, the event can only take place if there are at least two guests.

We kindly ask you to pay the amount of your booking in cash, by EC card or via Twint before boarding the boat.

Our courses will take place unless otherwise communicated. In the event of a weather forecast predicting severe storms, lightning, or heavy rainfall, we reserve the right to postpone your booking.
Equipment: Can I use all the equipment for free?
Yes, all the equipment is included in the price. (excluding wetsuit)

Liability
Before you board the boat with Surfup Swiss for the first time, we ask you to carefully read and sign our disclaimer.
Unfortunately, you cannot benefit from our offer without this disclaimer.
Pets: Am I allowed to bring my dog on the boat?
Unfortunately not. Animals are not allowed on our boat.
Location: Do you want to get on and off at a different location on the lake?
No problem! For a flat fee of 50-350 CHF (depending on location), we will gladly pick you up at your desired location on Lake Lucerne.
Number of people: Is there a minimum number of people per boat/session?
Due to legal requirements, at least 3 people (including the driver) must be on the boat. This means that the trip can only take place with a minimum of 2 booked sessions.
(Exceptions may apply)
Private Session: Is it possible to have more than 10 people on the boat during a private session?
No, our boat has a capacity for 16 people. However, to ensure your comfort, we only allow a maximum of 10 people.
However, you are welcome to send us a non-binding inquiry for a second or even a third boat.
Smoking: Is smoking allowed on the boat?
Unfortunately not. Smoking is not permitted on our boat.
Session: Can I join a session?

Of course, you can also simply enjoy your time on the boat without doing any water sports, provided there are enough free spaces on the boat.
The price for accompanying persons is
25 CHF.
Sessions: Can I be in the water for two 15-minute sessions in a row?
Sure! As long as there is enough time and your booked session is not fully booked, you can tell us on site that you would like to stay in the water for twice as long.
Can I reschedule or cancel my session? (Wakeboard-Boot)
You have the option to reschedule or cancel your booked service verbally or in writing up to 48 hours before the start of the activity or rental without incurring additional costs (this excludes sessions that have already been paid for in advance by credit card or similar payment methods. A refund fee will apply to these sessions). Cancellations by the customer must always be made in writing.
Cancellation: What fees apply if the session is cancelled?
Postponement or cancellation is no longer possible after 48 hours before the session.
In case of delays or no-shows for the booked service, 100% of the price will be charged. Costs incurred due to postponements or the participant's late arrival will be borne by the customer.
What is the difference between an open session and a private session?
In a private session, you decide who comes on the boat with you, where we go during your booked time, and whether you want to do water sports or relax.
During the open session, we have a clearly defined procedure. This means we set the direction, let you know when you can start watersports, and determine the departure and arrival times.
Water sports: Can I try several water sports in one session?
Yes, of course, you decide which water sports you want to try during your time. Whether you want to try wakesurfing or wakeboarding is entirely up to you.
Weather: Will the session take place regardless of the weather?
Our courses will take place unless otherwise communicated. In the event of a weather forecast predicting severe storms, lightning, or heavy rainfall, we reserve the right to postpone or cancel your booking.
In this case, you will receive an email and/or text message from us no later than one hour before the session begins. Your booking will then be considered cancelled and no charges will apply.
FAQ HotTug Boat
Is it possible to take my valuables on board the boat?
Of course! We'll gladly provide you with a dry bag on site so you can safely take your valuables with you on the hot tug."
Is it possible to extend the rental period of the hottug?
Yes, you can rent the hottug for longer than 1.5 hours. However, there is an additional charge for this. If you are interested, please send us an email to info@surfupswiss.ch . Include your name, address, phone number, and the desired date and time you would like to start. Please check the availability of the date and time beforehand. We will then contact you to discuss the details. Thank you!
Can I reserve the hot pot in advance without a credit card and pay on site?
Of course! Just send us an email to info@surfupswiss.ch . Please include your name, place of residence, phone number, preferred date, and departure time (please check beforehand that the date and time are available). We look forward to hearing from you!
I'm unsure whether I should book so early. What happens if the weather is bad that day?
The hot tug ride is fun in any weather – except in extreme conditions such as strong winds or heavy rain. In such cases, we will inform you in good time.
Can I give the HotTug boat as a surprise gift?
Of course! You can order one of our gift vouchers online or contact us directly to give the HotTug boat as a surprise gift.
The requested time is unavailable. Can I book alternative times?
Our booking times are fixed time slots and cannot be changed for organizational reasons. If your desired time is not available online, unfortunately no further spaces are available at that time. We recommend choosing another available time.
I noticed that the hot tug is officially only approved for a maximum of 6 people. Is there any possibility that 7 people could be allowed on the boat?
Is the HotTug available all year round?
Do I need a driver's license to rent the hot tug?
Unfortunately, the HotTug is officially only permitted for a maximum of 6 people; no exceptions are possible.
However, we have two hot tug boats that can be rented at the same time upon request.
Unfortunately, the HotTug is only available during the colder months. However, you can submit a non-binding inquiry, and we will try to accommodate your request if possible.
No, a driver's license is not required to rent the HotTug.
I'd like to add drinks and snacks to my HotTug experience. Is that possible?
Can I bring my own drinks and snacks?
Is it allowed to consume alcohol during my hottug rental?
Secure extras like drinks, snacks, a bathrobe, and a towel for your HotTug experience! Simply send us an email to info@surfupswiss.ch with your booking number, name, and departure details. The costs will be calculated separately and can be paid on-site.
